11 Jul 2018
The next forum meeting will take place on the 24 July, 9.30 – 12.30.
WCVA, in partnership with Cardiff University, has formed a
project to help the third sector better engage with and influence
The project aims to:
- connect third sector organisations and leading industry experts
to stimulate informed debate and discussion
- enable groups and experts to share knowledge
- develop shared third sector positions and take coordinated
action where relevant
As part of the project we've established a Brexit Civil Society
Forum. The purpose of the Forum is to get a clear steer from
members on their key areas of Brexit interest, what their main
concerns are and what they want to influence. This will help guide
the direction of the project and its activities.
The next Forum meeting is taking place on the 24 July,
9.30 - 12.30 at the
Culture and Media Centre, Loudoun Square, Cardiff and is open
to all third sector organsiations.
We will hear from key speakers, including Glynne Jones, Director
of the Wales Office, followed by breakout sessions and group
discussion. To help us plan in advance, can you please indicate in
your reply which one of the following breakout sessions you would
prefer to attend:
- equality and human rights
- EU funding and research
- immigration policy and migrant communities
- environmental rights and protections
You can download the agenda here.
There will be the opportunity to hear feedback from each of the
sessions in the latter part of the meeting.
Please email email@example.com to
confirm your attendance and indicate if you wish to contribute to
the session in English or Welsh by Wednesday
