Tracey has held varied roles working with and championing the rights of sanctuary seekers in Wales. Inspired by work with Palestinian women living in exile with UNRWA in Jordan in the late 90s, Tracey became STAR’s first Wales representative and established Welsh Refugee Council’s pan-Wales move-on programme.
In the early 2000's, Tracey worked for DPIA leading their work on
capacity building Refugee Community Organisations. After
subsequent periods of work with Mind and the Older People's
Commissioner for Wales driving equalities and rights based social
justice agendas, Tracey returned to the Welsh Refugee Council in
2016. Tracey has degrees in Social Anthropology and in Social
Development and Conflict.
