Owen Williams

WCB works in two complementary ways to promote and provide a voice for people with sight loss. Firstly we work strategically on influencing policy and service planning. Secondly, we work with service providers both statutory and third sector to improve the  scope and standards of service delivery.

Within his previous role he undertook technical assessments of people with sight loss for the
Access to Work scheme and Disability Student Allowance.  Owen also teaches a specialist module, 'Low Vision Aids in the 21st Century', for WOPEC.
