ABMU Health Board
During Volunteers week ABMU Health Board are holding a range of
recognition activities to celebrate the amazing contribution that
our volunteers make to the Health Board, our staff teams as well as
our patients and visitors.
Our Executive Board will also wear the lilac uniform and step
into the shoes of our volunteers, becoming "Undercover bosses"
across our Hospital sites. They will be joining and shadowing
existing volunteers in a range of roles that will include meeting
and greeting visitors to our hospitals, serving patients at a Tea
Bar, listening to experiences on the ward and serving lunch at a

1 - 7 June, Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO),
will be at various local locations giving out volunteering
Accompanied by local community groups and voluntary organisations,
find out how volunteering can benefit you by visiting John Street
Bandstand in Porthcawl on Friday 1 June from 10am - 3pm, Bridgend
Bus Station Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 June from 9am - 1pm and
Princess of Wales Hospital on Friday 8 June from 11am - 3pm.
You can also drop in to BAVO's Bridgend Volunteer Centre at 2 Queen
Street, Bridgend town centre. BAVO will be raising awareness of
different volunteering opportunities such as retail, youth work,
peer support, health groups through to Board Directors.
Whatever your motivation, whatever your interests, come along to
one of BAVO's volunteering information days. There is no obligation
to sign up to anything, just lots of information on options for
people to take away and think about.

Flintshire Local Voluntary Council will be holding a
celebration of volunteers & volunteering event on Friday
1st June at 1.00pm at Northop College Business School at
1.00pm on Friday 1st June 2018. There will be afternoon tea and
entertainment and volunteers will receive their National
