The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS) is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK - it’s the equivalent of an MBE.
In 2019 the Award was presented to 281 very diverse
groups of volunteers representing all ages and backgrounds.
What they had in common was their passion to make things better for
others and the outstanding quality of their group's work.
Congratulations to our wonderful Awardees from Wales in
2019 Amgueddfa'r Mor Porthmadog, Friends of Pontypool
