Channel 4 News Presenter, Jon Snow calls it the ‘dating service’ for charities and volunteers. And it could be a way for you to meet your perfect match.
No, we're not trying to set you up with your next date. Charity, Media

communications support with communications professionals who want
to volunteer their time and skills. One of the ways they do this is

Speedmatching is free to attend and a great place to network over
a glass of wine. The Cardiff event will take place on 13 March,
17:45-19:45 at VCS Radio Cardiff. You can
find out more and register to attend
on Media Trust's website.
If you can't make it on the 13 March you can still get
involved! Media Trust has been bringing together charities with
communications professionals for over 23 years. Their new online Volunteer Platform
launched in August, making it even easier for communications
volunteers to share their skills.
Media Trust's CEO, Su-Mei Thompson said: "Matching good skills
with good causes is at the heart of what Media Trust does. We help
charities tap into the skills of volunteers from across the media
and creative industries who give their time to train, mentor or
create content for charities across the UK, helping them to amplify
their voice and demonstrate the impact of their work."
"There are currently a broad range of charities looking for
communications, marketing and media volunteers on our site. I would
urge you to take a look and sign up. Just an hour of your time
could make a huge difference to a small charity."
