We are pleased to announce the fourth round of the Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme (LDTCS) for grants between £5,000 - £49,000 for projects beginning from 8 April 2020 is now open.

If your project benefits the community and will take place within 5 miles of an eligible landfill or waste transfer site, check out your eligibility by visiting our website.

The LDTCS will fund projects with a focus on Biodiversity, Waste Minimisation and the reduction of Waste to Landfill and Wider Environmental Enhancements.

We have run three rounds of the fund so far and have funded some great projects making positive environmental enhancements in their locality with the support of the community. From pine martens to reuse of discarded plastics, there is a variety of activity happening across Wales.

Nationally Significant Grants

A grant may also be awarded to one Nationally Significant project per year with a value of between £50,000 - £250,000 which will contribute to two or more of the themes above with broad applicability across wider areas of Wales.

Deadline for applications: 22 January 2020.

We receive a high number of applications which makes the funding process very competitive. If you would like support and guidance in the development of a project you can contact your local Third Sector Support Wales CVC here
