Funding for places of worship and community land in this week's funding update

Cohesive Communities Fund

The fund seeks to unlock the skills and capacity within the Community Land Trust (CLT) movement by providing financial and practical support through grants and training.

Groups will be able to apply for a grant of up to £15,000 on top of the technical support. This grant can be used to increase capacity and outreach.

Places of Worship (POW): protective security funding scheme

Funding is available for protective security measures to places of worship and associated faith community centres that are vulnerable to hate crime.

The maximum government funding available to any place of worship or associated faith community centre is £56,000.

GSK IMPACT Awards 2020

Up to ten winners will receive £30,000, with one overall winner receiving £40,000. Up to ten runners-up will receive £3,000.

The GSK IMPACT Awards are an annual programme, funded by GSK as part of the company's commitment to promote community health and wellbeing.

Award winners will also be offered training and development valued at an average of £9,500 and have a film made about their work.
