WCVA are looking to work together with consultants, practitioners and other third sector professionals to coach charitable heritage organisations in Wales to become more resilient.

Building on our previous Catalyst Cymru: Heritage Fundraising project (which ran from 2014-2018) our new Catalyst Cymru: Resilient Heritage project will provide in depth coaching to heritage organisations, as well as a programme of training and webinars covering several relevant topics.

Through these activities, Catalyst Cymru: Resilient Heritage aims to support heritage organisations to further develop specific areas of their organisation to increase their sustainability and resilience.

These areas are governance, fundraising, project management, marketing, business planning and impact measurement.

Successful coaching applicants will be matched with charitable heritage organisations for up to six days of coaching.

Some coaches may also be invited to deliver webinars or face-to-face training sessions to participants.

An application pack with further details (including renumeration) is available on request.

'Working with true experts'

Alison Pritchard, Catalyst Project Manager says:

'I'm really looking forward to working with some true experts in their fields.

'It's going to be great to see them work with charitable organisations from the heritage sector to create real change in those organisations.

'Hopefully this'll benefit not only the organisation itself, but also the heritage it is promoting or protecting, and the communities in Wales who benefit from that heritage.'
