Sustainable CommunityEnabling Natural Resources and Well-being in Wales 2019-2023 Grant Funding:

What is it?
A Welsh Government grant scheme to help support implementation of the Natural Resources Policy and make clearer links between Wales' natural resources and well-being.

What will it fund?
The grants will cover revenue and capital costs for pilot or demonstration projects relating to at least one of the three themes of action:

  • Developing, regenerating and broadening access to sustainable green infrastructure through nature based solutions
  • Improving the quality of the urban and rural built environment
  • Developing resilient ecological networks and nature based solutions

Who will it fund?

Funding will be available to cross-sector collaborative projects; please note that there must be a minimum of two organisations from different sectors and at least one of the organisations involved will be an SME.

When can groups apply and receive funding?

The current round opened on Friday 7 September 2018 and will close on Monday 3 December 2018. Funding decisions will be made over Winter 2018/19 and groups will be informed of funding decisions by February / March 2019 for projects to start in Spring 2019.
