Wales Council for Voluntary Action to join £600k UK-wide
programme to improve third sector impact
We are delighted to
announce that £600k of
National Lottery funding has been secured for the continuation
of the UK-wide Inspiring
Impact programme. This funding will enable WCVA to support
third sector organisations in Wales to develop good impact practice
and demonstrate the difference they make.
The programme is a continuation and bringing together of the
highly successful Inspiring Impact brand and the Impact Management
Programme run by New Philanthropy Capital, NCVO, Charities
Evaluation Services, Social Value UK, Evaluation Support Scotland,
Community Evaluation Northern Ireland and WCVA.
WCVA will be using its knowledge and expertise to improve the
impact of third sector organisations in Wales through the
facilitation of peer networks, events, and learning opportunities.
The support will be responsive and relevant to organisations trying
to improve their work with limited resources.
The UK-wide programme will also offer flexible grants that
charities and social enterprises can spend on understanding and
improving their impact and a website that brings together the best
free resources from across the sector.
