Mair is a chartered accountant with over 20 years' experience of
directly managing and leading organisations. She has worked in
senior roles within Welsh Government, the Welsh European Funding
Office, the Wales Co-operative Centre and Deloitte Touche LLP
developing a specific interest and expertise in relation to
charities and social businesses.
In 2013, she established her own consultancy business Almair Cyf
providing practical support for the not for profit sector, advising
on all aspects of financial management, governance, state aid and
Mair has been a director and trustee for WCVA since 2012 and
currently holds the role of Treasurer. She is also chair of Social
Investment Cymru Ltd, a non-executive director of the Pen y Cymoedd
Wind Farm Community Fund CIC and a trustee for the UK Charity,
Money and Mental Health Policy Institute.
She is fully committed to utilising her skills and professional
knowledge to ensuring the good governance, sustainability and
financial accountability of WCVA and to support the organisation in
the ongoing development of the sector.
