Welsh volunteers get their annual chance to shine
With International Volunteers’ Day on the horizon (Friday, 5 December), Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) is calling for nominations for its annual award scheme which rewards and recognizes the people who keep the wheels of Wales’s vibrant third sector turning.
The adults and young people who are usually backstage helping others are set to be given their chance to shine through the 2009 Wales Volunteer of the Year Award.
