A new scheme that will make £13m of European funds available to reduce economic inactivity in North Wales is now underway.
Managed by WCVA, the Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) will invest in organisations that provide a period of training and work experience to people facing barriers to employment.
The scheme will offer contracts up to a maximum of £150,000 through a tendering process, and expect the first invitations to tender to be issued in September.
WCVA will invite organisations on its approved supplier list to tender for appropriate contracts. To join the approved supplier list, organisations need to complete and submit a pre qualification questionnaire (PQQ) by Tuesday 2 June.
For a PQQ or general information leaflet on the ILM, contact the WCVA Helpdesk on 0800 2888 329 or email ilm@wcva.org.uk

WCVA will be holding free PQQ briefing events across North Wales. Click here for dates and venues.
Organisations that would like to discuss the process of tendering to the ILM before submitting a PQQ should contact the WCVA Helpdesk in the first instance.
The scheme will operate in the Convergence areas of North Wales (Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire), and is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and European Structural Funds (European Social Fund).
