The Intermediate Labour Market (ILM)
The ILM aims to reduce economic inactivity in North and East Wales by investing in organisations to provide work experience and training for people facing barriers to employment
The ILM scheme aims to reduce economic inactivity in the Convergence areas of North Wales and Regional Competitiveness and Employment areas of East Wales by investing £18m of European funds in organisations to provide paid work experience and training for people facing barriers to employment.
The scheme will contract with organisations that provide work-based activities to target groups which build confidence and skills to move them towards sustainable employment, leading to greater social cohesion and sustainable development in the most disadvantaged communities.
WCVA will invite organisations on its approved supplier list to tender for appropriate ILM contracts. Only organisations on the approved supplier list will receive notification of contracts and be eligible to tender.
To join the approved supplier list, organisations need to complete and submit a pre qualification questionnaire (PQQ).
Under European procurement regulations, WCVA can only respond to general questions about the scheme, and is unable to answer queries specific to a particular organisation.
Please contact WCVA if you have a question about the PQQ process. All appropriate questions will be published on the WCVA website and individuals will also be notified by email when a response to their question is available.
