Welcome to the European Funding section of WCVA’s website, which provides information about the range of European projects that are managed by WCVA and funding opportunities for third sector organisations.
WCVA also has a key role through the Third Sector European Team (3-SET) in providing information, advice and assistance to third sector organisations regarding the European Structural Funds programmes. Structural Funds come from the European Union directly to the 27 EU Member States to promote economic growth, employment and skills development. Three main programmes will operate in Wales during 2007-2013: Convergence programme in West Wales and the Valleys; Regional Competitiveness and Employment in East Wales and an Ireland-Wales Cross-border Co-operation programme.
