WCVA Criminal Records Unit - criminal records checks for the voluntary sector within Wales

CRU is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government  (WAG)and offers a fully bilingual service, which is FREE of administrative charge, for all voluntary organisations within Wales.  

We aim to help voluntary organisations to make informed recruitment decisions for volunteers and paid staff  recruited into positions which involve working with children and vulnerable adults.  

Under special arrangement with WAG and the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales (CSIW), we can handle requests for checks on staff in ALL regulated child day care provision.

WCVA CRU are also able to offer a charged service for non voluntary organisations.
