A one day course facilitated by Young Minds. This course is aimed at anyone working with children and families and who wishes to increase their understanding of the impact of parental mental ill health on child development.

A one day course facilitated by Windfall Training. Research has reported that disabled children and young people are three times more likely to experience abuse and neglect than typically developing children, and that is just based on reported events. Clearly there are specific risks to disabled children and additional skills are required to ensure their welfare in the home, in care and residential placements. This course will offer the opportunity for discussion and debate in this most complex and challenging areas of safeguarding.
