This conference is aimed at professionals from both the health and arts sectors. Its main aim is to raise the debate among practitioners as to the value and effectiveness of the arts along with some practical solutions. Recent Arts Council of Wales publications ‘Arts in Health & Wellbeing: An action plan for Wales’ & ‘The art of good health: Improving the patient experience’ highlight the benefits and good practice of the arts working in both health care settings and the community. The conference will provide an opportunity to discuss and debate issues raised in these documents and to provide networking opportunities. On-line bookings: http://www.artswales.org/conference.asp?conferenceid=11 A small fee of £15 will be charged.
